  8. Findlay, this one was at a local reservoir, near Tring. They sometimes turn up all over the country in small numbers, at gravel pits, reservoirs and lakes. Probably the best thing to do is have a look on the net for some bird groups near you. They frequently report sightings of various birds. One or two may well turn up near you.
